The Mask
The Mask reflects the transformation of identity — the moment when one version of the self is peeled away to make space for another. As we grow, we are constantly required to adapt, perform, and reshape ourselves in response to uncertain environments and social expectations.
The mask symbolises the layers we adopt to survive: protection, conformity, and the versions of ourselves shaped by what the world allows us to be. Through the acts of removing, melting, and confronting the mask, the series visualises the emotional tension between who we are, who we appear to be, and who we are becoming.
